Why there is no universal annual EV battery fade rate

The current E2 evidence does not support one universal annual battery-degradation rate for all EVs. Its admitted studies differ in metric, population, conditions and whether they examine laboratory cells or one operating fleet. Do not average or linearly extend those records to predict an individual vehicle's battery life.
